State Water Heaters Recognizes 10,000th Contractor Rewards™ Participant

June 4, 2012

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (June 4, 2012)—State Water Heaters (www.statewaterheaters.com) recently announced the enrollment of its 10,000th contractor into the company-sponsored Contractor Rewards™ program. To celebrate the occasion, State Water Heaters has awarded the contractor—James Hamby, owner of JR Plumbing Company in Salado, Texas—10,000 bonus Contractor Rewards points as well as a 42-inch TV.

Contractor Rewards is a unique customer loyalty program, designed to help State Water Heaters learn more about its customer base. Through the program, State awards points to enrolled contractors for purchasing its products. Points can be redeemed for thousands of prizes, including golf clubs, televisions, business equipment and power tools—to name just a few.

“Contractor Rewards has been a great avenue to connect with our contractor customers. We’ve been able to get to know many of the great contractors who use our products, and we thank James for being a loyal State contractor,” said Jeff Storie, senior manager of strategic marketing for State Water Heaters. “We are happy to reward those responsible for making State Water Heaters an industry leader.”

Contractors purchasing State Water Heaters are also happy with the program.

“I was shocked to find out I was lucky enough to be State Water Heaters’ 10,000th contractor to enroll,” said Hamby. “I won a free TV just for purchasing the State brand water heater that I needed for a job. The Contractor Rewards program allows me to earn rewards for doing my job. I really like it.”

Any State-purchasing contractor can easily follow in Hamby’s footsteps by enrolling in the Contractor Rewards program at www.contractorrewards.com. Immediately upon joining, contractors can submit codes found on all State products to earn points. Points are then cashed in to redeem rewards from a diverse prize catalog courtesy of State Water heaters.
