      • The ProLine® Lowboy Electric Water Heater with top water connections is the reliable choice when you want to maximize hot water output and energy savings. The ESX-50-DOLBS incorporates a 48-gallon (nominal) tank and dual 4,500-watt elements to deliver a first hour rating of 60 gallons at a highly efficient 0.93 Uniform Energy Factor rating.

      Environmentally friendly insulation, a supplied insulation blanket and factory-installed heat trap nipples reduce heat loss to optimize energy savings.

      This Pro-Line® water heater utilizes State's superior commercial-grade tank protection. Advanced tank features include a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining and DynaClean™ automatic sediment-cleaning system—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater. The ESX-50-DOLBS includes a 10-year limited tank warranty.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good water heater by today's standards This is a replacement of my other State Water heater that I bought 7 or 8 years ago. It holds 2 gallons more and is shorter than the other. I purchased this one at a plumbing supply as opposed to the last one which was purchased at Home Depot and had problems from the start which were never corrected, and it died a premature death due lack of maintenance and repair. My husband was to do the maintenance but got too sick to take care of it; never mentioned it to me; and, since it was never on m y radar, it never got done

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement for 30 year plus state water heaters Thought it was time to replace the 2) 40 gallon heaters after more than 30 years of service. I was happy to find a local plumbing supply house to purchase the same heaters that I installed when I built my house in 1992. On well water and hard water too, just replaced a few elements along the way. Comparing the the quality of the new heaters, they have upped the game, 2 anode rods and a brass 1/4 turn drain valve, big box stores don’t carry this quality line and the price was cheaper than the low end heaters that they sell. Hoping for another 30+ years.
