      • The ProLine® XE Power Vent Natural Gas Water Heater maximizes efficiency and provides flexible installation options by using an exclusive 3 position rotatable blower outlet. The GS6-50-YBVIS features a 50-gallon (nominal) tank and a 40,000 BTU gas burner to deliver a first-hour rating of 79 gallons and a recovery rate of 44.7 gallons per hour.

      A patented Green Choice® eco-friendly burner design reduces NOx emissions up to 33% and complies with Low NOx emission requirements of 40 ng/J. All models are equipped with a protected sensor that detects the presence of flammable vapors and automatically disables the burner to prevent ignition.

      The GS6-50-YBVIS features State’s advanced tank protection, including a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining, and DynaClean™ automatic sediment-cleaning—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater, which is backed by a 6-year limited tank and parts warranty.

UPP came early in the morning the day before Thanksgiving and replaced the whole unit. We could not have expected a better service. We are hoping that the unit lives up to its billing and lasts for at least 10 years. There are advanced features on this unit that we did not have before, so we are looking forward to care-free service.

This new State Water Heater has more insulation, an actual full flow 1/4 turn brass drain valve, a CO detection sensor, is extremely quiet, and more I am sure. I decided to have the pros do the install this time and I am sure that I got my moneys worth. I even learned a couple of things to boot. Anyway, I am very happy after 6 months with this unit.

Price was higher than what some of my neighbors paid when a couple of different companies installed their units (not sure what brands they purchased).
