      • The State ProLine® Standard Electric water heater is the reliable choice when you want to maximize hot water output and energy savings. The ESX-30-DONT incorporates a 30-gallon (nominal) tank and dual 4,500-watt elements to deliver a first hour rating of 48 gallons at a Uniform Energy Factor of 0.89.

      Environmentally-friendly insulation and factory-installed heat trap nipples reduce heat loss to optimize energy savings.

      This ProLine® water heater features State's advanced tank protection, including a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining and DynaClean™ automatic sediment-cleaning—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater. The ESX-30-DONT includes a 10-year limited tank warranty.

      State ProLine® water heaters are residential products built to commercial-grade standards and are only available for purchase through professional wholesalers and contractors.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from First one was defective with internal leaks I had one installed 3/23/2022 I went to adjust the temperature two weeks later and found the upper control cover was full of water. The inside of the cover than began to rust. The plumbing company replaced it on 6/3/2022 under their one year labor warranty. I will be checking to be sure this one has no internal leaks.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Concerns about State Water Heaters This replacement is the 3rd W/H I have had to get since 2013. The 1st one was installed 1/23/2013, that one failed on 2/24/2016, a replacement was installed, the 2nd one failed on 1/31/21 and has just been replaced. The 1st one developed catastrophic leaks, which damage some of my things because of the flooding. The most current unit developed small leaks that caused the thermostat and heating elements to short out. So you see I don't have a good feeling regarding the reliability of State Water Heaters. I don't know whether it is quality control issue, manufacturing problem or sub-standard materials.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Temperature Control Purchased in 2016 and installed in our lake house, not used daily. Never heated well and temperature control is now out of the question. It may work properly for a day and the next day it has to be reset. Looking for a new heater!
