      • The ProLine® GS6-40-BCT 40-Gallon Atmospheric Vent Tall Natural Gas Water Heater is designed to deliver an economical performance that can lower your energy bills and provide long-lasting value.

      Featuring a 40-gallon (nominal) tank and a 40,000 BTU gas burner, the GS6-40-BCT Atmospheric Vent delivers a first hour rating of 80 gallons and a recovery rate of 42 gallons per hour. It carries a 6-year limited tank warranty and meets Low NOx emission requirements.

      Environmentally-friendly insulation and factory-installed heat trap nipples reduce heat loss for maximum energy savings.

      This ProLine® water heater is designed with State’s advanced tank features, including a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining and a self-cleaning dip tube—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater.

I was looking to replace this durable and dependable hot water heater with another Rheem, but my plumber insisted that the State ProLine was a better hot water heater, and since that was the brand they sold, I went with it. So far it has done it job. We will see if it will last 40 years.

I was getting a bad smell in my water ( not sure if that had anything to do with it) It started making a loud banging noise and when I called Eveready they came out to flush it and that's when I was told It was outdated and I needed to replace it. They came out the next day and put in my new tank and I am truly happy with it. No more foul smell in my water. It heats up very quickly and it is much quieter than my old tank. Also, I'm not getting the gas smell in my home when it turns on. I would highly recommend this tank to anyone in the market to upgrade or replace their tank.

I was very surprised and upset that the installing company charged me $585.00. They said it was for Modifications and Upgrade.and that Choice home warranty paid for the water heater. I am a single lady and had no idea that it would cost that much to install it. No one would give me an itemized bill.Still think maybe i was taking advantage of.

That saves gas, energy, and the heater!!
