      • The ProLine® GS6-40-BRBT 40-Gallon Atmospheric Vent Tall Liquid Propane Water Heater is designed to deliver an economical performance that can lower your energy bills and provide long-lasting value.

      Featuring a 40-gallon (nominal) tank and a 36,000 BTU propane burner, the GS6-40-BRBT Atmospheric Vent delivers a first hour rating of 78 gallons and a recovery rate of 42 gallons per hour. It carries a 6-year limited tank warranty and meets Low NOx emission requirements.

      Environmentally-friendly insulation and factory-installed heat trap nipples reduce heat loss for maximum energy savings. This model ships with a supplied insulation blanket.

      This ProLine® water heater is designed with State’s advanced tank features, including a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining and a self-cleaning dip tube—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater.

It probably would have worked longer if I had changed out the anode. Weeks ago the tank developed a small leak and I replaced it with this current model. I was slightly disappointed that neither the control box nor the temperature/pressure relief valve were installed pointing exactly "down" so I had to rework the drain pipe to fit. Other than that it was easy, fired right up, and heated the water completely in under 45 minutes. Ordering on-line was easy, and pickup at a nearby Ferguson warehouse was a breeze. It was the best price I found for a 50 gallon water heater too.
