Great Water Heater
The first State Hot Water heater came with the home i bought in 2005. the orginal home owner had these since 1998. it lasted 25 years with no problems

Good reliability history with this product
I purchased my present home in 2004 - the contractor installed a State 75 gallon gas water heater at the time. That water heater lasted over 18 years before it started a small leak - but it still kept working! I made sure to purchase the exact same brand and type for replacement - this is an exact replacement, but I believe it is more energy efficient. Looking forward to many years of service from this unit as well.

This is my second State water heater. The first one lasted 15 years. When i discovered my water heater was leaking i was bummed, but it was at the end of its live cycle. When my plumber installed the new version i liked it even more as it had some new features and easier lighting of the pilot.

The best in the 75 Gallon category
We had the one leaking and replaced with the new 75 gallon. Works great. No issues. Has a great front easy to read panel for a variety of setup use modes. The indicator led status shows of anything to be taken care.

16 years Now
I installed mine 2/2007. I didn't drain it as specified, and we have very hard water. When I did drain it, it was limey and ugly. A few years ago, it would pop, indicating a lot of sediment. I replaced the pressure relief valve once, and added an expansion tank in the line.
16 years later, it is leaking from the PRV again, and I am replacing it. Today, I bought the exact same model to replace it. Only issue is it was three times the price.

Great brand!
We had our old State water heater for about 20 years so we really wanted to go with the same brand. State water heaters come highly recommended anyway so after doing some research, we stuck with State. I feel confident we will have this water heater for many years to come.

Perfect for Our Family Needs
Previous gas hot water heater was also a 75 gallon State gas tank and it lasted 12 years so naturally wanted another one. This new one seems to be very well built and after using it for almost a week, it seems to be doing a great job. Not sure why but the hot water seems to be getting to our faucets faster.
We live in Tennessee so purchasing a product made here in this state was an added bonus.
Fwiw, we really thought about switching to a tankless since the 75 gallon tanks are so expensive. However, after receiving some estimates the tankless options were more than what I wanted to spend at this time.

Replaced complete HVAC system
I bought this State water heater because my original water heater was a State. The original was installed in July 1997 part of the Apollo System (2 each). I replaced it because I was replacing my complete systems. Did not have a single problem with the AC units, air handlers or water heater. Performed maintenance on all of them every 6 months. With the water heater always drained it and the side loops every six months and vacuumed the burner area. Only replaced the systems because the evaporator coils in the air handlers were rusting pretty bad. There are six of us in the house. Three are females with long hair. We have never run out of hot water even on the coldest winter day. Great water heater! Continued with a State water heater because I have faith in your product. My heartfelt thanks to my fellow Americans in Tennessee.

Great performance
We installed the new water heater just about 2 weeks ago and it's amazing how well it keeps up with the constant use we give it. We are a hair salon that is constantly running hot water to shampoo clients and do the laundry. We keep it set on the lowest setting and the water is still super hot and we never run out!!

We've had this water heater since 6/2012. It has worked great. Even when we've shut it off during a trip, when we return and turn it back on we have hot water within 15-25 minutes.
