      • The ProLine® XE Power Vent Natural Gas Water Heater maximizes efficiency and provides flexible installation options by using an exclusive 3 position rotatable blower outlet. The GS6-75-YRVHTL features a 75-gallon (nominal) tank and a 76,000 BTU gas burner to deliver a first-hour rating of 116 gallons and a recovery rate of 80.4 gallons per hour.

      A patented Green Choice® eco-friendly burner design reduces NOx emissions up to 33% and complies with Low NOx emission requirements of 40 ng/J. All models are equipped with a protected sensor that detects the presence of flammable vapors and automatically disables the burner to prevent ignition.

      The GS6-75-YRVHTL features State’s advanced tank protection, including a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining, and DynaClean™ automatic sediment-cleaning—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater, which is backed by a 6-year limited tank and parts warranty.

After set up, water was hot within 1/2 hour from cold. Runs quietly, looking forward to the many years of trouble free operation. We paid more than we thought we would for the purchase / install, but this should last a long time.

Luckily with this tank there is never a lack of hot water! EXCEPT, since having it installed three months ago, there have been about 3 different times when we have woken up to take our morning showers and there has been no hot water! Very frustrating! Our plumber has thoroughly checked everything and the gas company has been out to test the pressure and everything looks fine. We are beginning to think there is something wrong internally with this tank. Some timing thing that is a little off because if I turn the tank off and back on again it seems to reset itself and less than an hour later we will have hot water. Our plumber has contacted the manufacturer, unfortunately the first time he did not have the model and serial number.
