The FVIR-compliant ProLine® Direct Vent 40-Gallon Liquid Propane Water Heater draws air from outside the home, eliminating problems caused by insufficient indoor ventilation. The GS6-40-HBDS can be vented up to 80 inches from the outside wall with no electrical power needed.
This ProLine® Direct Vent model has a 40-gallon (nominal) tank and a 38,000 BTU liquid propane burner to deliver a first hour rating of 64 gallons and a recovery rate of 41 gallons per hour.
A patented Green Choice® eco-friendly burner design reduces NOx emissions up to 33% and complies with Low NOx emission requirements of 40 ng/J. Environmentally-friendly insulation and factory-installed heat trap nipples reduce heat loss for maximum energy savings.
