The ProLine® XE Power Direct Vent Liquid Propane Gas Water Heater features a two-pipe combustion system that draws clean air in from outside the home, eliminating any concerns about indoor ventilation. The GS6-40-HBPDS features a 40-gallon (nominal) tank and a 40,000 BTU propane burner to deliver a first-hour rating of 74 gallons and a recovery rate of 45 gallons per hour.
A patented Green Choice® eco-friendly burner design reduces NOx emissions up to 33% and complies with Low NOx emission requirements of 40 ng/J. All models are equipped with a protected sensor that detects the presence of flammable vapors and automatically disables the burner to prevent ignition.
The GS6-40-HBPDS features State’s advanced tank protection, including a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining, and DynaClean™ automatic sediment-cleaning—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater, which is backed by a 6-year limited tank and parts warranty.
