      • The ProLine® XE Power Vent Natural Gas Water Heater maximizes efficiency and provides flexible installation options by using an exclusive 3 position rotatable blower outlet. The GS6-40-YBVIS features a 40-gallon (nominal) tank and a 40,000 BTU gas burner to deliver a first-hour rating of 73 gallons and a recovery rate of 44.7 gallons per hour.

      A patented Green Choice® eco-friendly burner design reduces NOx emissions up to 33% and complies with Low NOx emission requirements of 40 ng/J. All models are equipped with a protected sensor that detects the presence of flammable vapors and automatically disables the burner to prevent ignition.

      The GS6-40-YBVIS features State’s advanced tank protection, including a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining, and DynaClean™ automatic sediment-cleaning—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater, which is backed by a 6-year limited tank and parts warranty.

The hot water heater was originally set at very high temperature. Once I learned how to adjust it and the temperature associated with the various settings, everything is fine.

Impressive! 2) Bought it on July 17, 2014. I expected it should last at least 10 years but it lasted less than 8 years. I was disappointed. Can you explain why the 2nd one only lasted only 7 years and 8 months? 3) Bought it on March 4, 2022 (today). I hope this one will last at least 10 years because I have paid lots of money. I still believe in your products, please don't fail me.
