      • The State ProLine® Master Standard Electric water heater is the reliable choice when you want to maximize hot water output and energy savings. The EN8-50-DORT incorporates a 50-gallon (nominal) tank and 4,500 watts to deliver a first hour rating of 62 gallons at a Uniform Energy Factor of 0.92.

      Environmentally-friendly insulation and factory-installed heat trap nipples reduce heat loss to optimize energy savings.

      This ProLine® Master water heater features State's advanced tank protection, including a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining and DynaClean™ automatic sediment-cleaning—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater. The EN8-50-DORT includes an 8-year limited tank warranty.

Easy to install. I would highly recommend this product. Only problem I had was finding a supplier that sold state w.h. to diy person. Web site keep trying to hook me up with a plumber.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install I purchased this unit not for reviews, but because I looked up the company and being a US company. Also it fit right in the spot my old one was. The water line Idid have to refit because of a bit more height, but I know how to do that and it works great right off. After water hook up and priming/getting all the air out I hooked up electricity, and turned it on. With in an hour we had warm water and too a shower 2 hours later.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as well as better our old gas water heater We replaced a 74 gallon State Gas with power vent with this State 4500 watt 50 galloon electric water heater and are getting the same or better hot water service throughout the house. We were also exceptionally pleased with the product, installation, and customer service provided by our plumber, Woodbridge Plumbing in Woodbridge VA. Only reason we gave it a 3 out of 5 is that the product is not energy star certified and we are concerned about the potential impact on our electric bill. The price of gas is so high these days I am hoping it will be a was.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good waterheater Only problem was that in less then a year it leaked, creating quite a lot of damage to items stored in basement. Warranty was good and our awesome plumber replaced the unit. However, I still had an installation fee. Warranties should cover replacement installation if only in service a year. I stress, we have a great plumber, he did exactly what he had to do, State should cover the extra cost, plumber cannot do these things at no cost. I wills still recommend but with reservation
