      • The ProLine® 40-Gallon Ultra-Low NOx Atmospheric Vent Natural Gas Water Heater delivers an efficient, reliable performance with an innovative design that protects against accidental ignition of flammable vapors.

      The GS6-40-BRUT features a 40-gallon (nominal) tank and a 40,000 BTU gas burner to deliver a first-hour rating of 83 gallons and a recovery rate of 42 gallons per hour. This model uses a patented Green Choice® eco-friendly burner and meets Ultra-Low NOx emission requirements.

      This ProLine® water heater features State’s advanced tank protection, including a stainless steel CoreGard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining, and DynaClean™ automatic sediment-cleaning—designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater, which is backed by a 6-year limited tank and parts warranty.

      State ProLine® water heaters are residential products built to commercial-grade standards and are only available for purchase through professional wholesalers and contractors.

I really appreciate having this new water heater OH and the water stays hotter longer making the water heater run less time saving me gas and water. Thank you!!!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from We had a state water heater that we replaced. And we enjoyed it very much. Tony, the person who installed this water heater, did of excellent job. He was very particular about the soldering joints. He left no solder running down the side of the pipe like I have seen many plumbers do. But he cleaned it all up so look very good. I like the controls of the water heater to control the temperature. I won't know if it lowers my fuel bill or raises it until after I use it for a little while. But the last one I had, just like this one, I considered it economical.

Control system is very user friendly. Don't have verification yet but expect some reduction in my natural gas usage compared to the old unit due to the much increased heating efficiency.

My previous State water heater lasted only about four years, but, part of the problem was because we had our house sandblasted and the enclosure wasn't covered properly so sand and water and debris got inside the burner and filter area. We'll see how long this one lasts. It was recommended to me by the representative from "L and B Plumbing Supply", whom I trust and also my Plumber.
